Food preservation is normally storing of food items or
materials from spoiling. One more reason is that we can obtained in of
season s fruits and vegetables.

1 Drying :- In drying
firstly food items are dry completely so that the no moisture is present in

2 Freezing:- It isthe
method in whichfood items can be frozen in cold storage.
3 Vaccum packing:- In this method food items
after storage can be packed in sealed bags
or bottles or air tight containers
4 Salting and pickling:- It is another method
in which food items can be salted for preserv ,Salt and sugar are very common
and good preservatives
Pickling means achaar fruits and vegetables can be
pickled in a very large quantity

5 Canning and bottling:- food items can be
sealed in packets or bottles
