INGREDIENTS
·
Apple 1 kg
·
Sugar 1 kg
·
Cloves 3- 4
·
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
·
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
·
Water 1 liter
METHOD
To make apple murabba, first of all, wash the apples thoroughly. With the help of a peeler, peel off all these and remove the stalk, and put them in water so that blackness does not come on them. Put the water on the gas to heat up, and let the apples cook till they become soft, if the apples have become soft then take out the apples from the water. Put sugar in the same vessel which is left to boil the apple and make sugar syrup.
Cook apples by putting them in sugar syrup, and cook them till the syrup becomes thick like honey. Switch off the gas; let the apple remain in the syrup so that the sweetness of the syrup gets absorbed well inside the apple. Add lemon juice, and cardamom powder to the sugar syrup and mix it. Let the apple remain immersed in the syrup for 2 days, after 2 days the delicious apple marmalade is ready. The marmalade can be kept in the fridge and eaten comfortably for 1 month.
